SELES Editor and SELES international portfolio inc Simulator executables are compiled for Windows operating system computers (NT, XP).

They can be down-loaded from the Gowlland Technologies website [1] in the "Download" area.

Memory allocation errors

When running large models in SELES using the above executables you may encounter errors related to memory allocation, even though you have sufficient free memory to casino run the process. One reason this can happen is because the SELES executable is not compiled to take advantage of the full amount of memory permitted to 32-bit Windows processes. To remedy this problem, a version of the SELES 3.4 executable has been modified using this method. The modified version of SELES can use up to 3GB in a 32-bit environment and 4GB in a 64-bit environment. Personally, I have seen SELES using 3.8 GB of memory with this method, without any problems. The regular version of SELES 3.4 gave memory errors when at less than 2 GB. The modified version of the SELES 3.4 executable is available for download here.
